KVKK Disclosure Notice

This notice is provided under Article 10 of Turkish Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data ("KVKK"), in our capacity as data controller.

We do not collect special categories of personal data. Please do not enter such information into the application form.
3. Purposes of Processing
- Evaluating membership applications and establishing the membership agreement
- Providing and administering membership services
- Planning and running events and training programs
- Tracking membership fees and meeting accounting and tax obligations
- Communicating with members and sending announcements
- Handling requests and complaints
- Ensuring information security
- Meeting legal obligations and defending against legal claims

Where processing relies on explicit consent, you may withdraw it at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it.
5. Method of Collection
Personal data is collected through forms on aiwomenturkiye.com, email correspondence, event registration processes, bank transfer records and image recording at events, by partly automated and non-automated means.
6. Transfers
Within Türkiye: to our accountant (for financial records), to competent public authorities (where required by law), and to partners for jointly organised events (at participant-list level).
Abroad: we use Vercel Inc. (USA) for website hosting and Airtable Inc. (USA) for membership and application records. These transfers are carried out within the conditions set out in Article 9 of the KVKK.
7. Retention Periods
See section 4 of the Privacy Policy. At the end of these periods data is deleted, destroyed or anonymised in accordance with the KVKK and related legislation.
8. Your Rights under Article 11 of the KVKK
You have the right to: learn whether your personal data is processed; request information if it has been processed; learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly; know the third parties to whom it is transferred in Türkiye or abroad; request correction if it is incomplete or inaccurate; request erasure or destruction; request that such actions be notified to third parties to whom the data was transferred; object to an outcome arising against you from analysis by exclusively automated systems; and claim compensation for damage arising from unlawful processing.
9. How to Apply
Send your requests to info@aiwomenturkiye.com together with information verifying your identity. We will respond as soon as possible and within 30 days at the latest. If your request is refused or you find the response insufficient, you retain the right to lodge a complaint with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Board.
